CCCM Project Coordinator

For Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) interventions at all approved IDP locations, the CCCM Project Coordinator offers technical supervision and strategic direction. In order to ensure quality, accountability, and adherence to donor requirements and humanitarian standards, the coordinator is in charge of the overall planning, execution, supervision, coordination, and performance monitoring of CCCM activities.

The Coordinator makes sure that site-level CCCM operations, such as site profiling, service mapping, community engagement, safeguarding, referral mechanisms, advocacy, infrastructure oversight, and information management, are efficiently carried out and in line with organizational strategy under the direction of the Project Manager and in close collaboration with the Humanitarian Department.

In order to provide ethical, inclusive, and community-centered camp management, the position necessitates strong leadership abilities to oversee diverse teams and collaborate with government authorities, clusters, and humanitarian partners.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Management, Humanitarian Studies, Disaster Risk Management (DRM), Community Development, or related field from an accredited institution. A Master’s degree is an asset.

A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in humanitarian programming or CCCM, including at least two years in a supervisory or coordination capacity.
Experience in site management, return and reintegration support, or camp coordination.
A thorough understanding of CCCM best practices, standards, and tools.
Proficiency in catastrophe response and recovery programming.
• Demonstrated expertise overseeing donor reporting, procurement procedures, and budgets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a solid grasp of data protection in emergency operations.
Experience in difficult emergency situations and multicultural teams.
It is necessary to speak and write English fluently.
Proficiency in the native language is advantageous.
